What is the meaning of "2CM' & "3CB" and the others I see when looking at the SMI and Chip numbers. I figure the first two are 2 coin or 3 coin, but what is the C & B and the like.

2CM & 3CM is Coin Multiplier. 3CB Is normally stated as 3CBP Coin Buy-A-Pay. See http://www.newlifegames.net/igtbible/IGT%203CBP/Game%20Library%20-%20S-Plus.htm
If you don't play the third or fourth coin you can not hit the jackpot.
