Title: What chassis for this tube?
Post by: proten on November 30, 2011, 11:17:57 PM
I have a 13" Goldstar tube and I need a chassis for it.
Is there away to tell what chassis will work with it?
The tube # is M34KVS05XX     41
and serial # 30800046

Your best bet is to post how many pins the neck has and what the resistance is for the horizontal and vertical yoke windings.

There is 10 pins and the yoke coils ohm at 11.7 - 1.7.

This one might be difficult to find out. I repaired TVs for almost 20 years and don't recall seeing a cross referance for tube to chassis number EVER. Model number and the parts numbers used inside, but part to part compatibility would take quite a bit of research I would think. Although if you were to google the tube number it might come up with models that it was used in.

Nothing from that search, just a listing in Russia.

Try asking over on the KLOV forums... The guys there do a lot of tube swaps and may know...
