Hi All.. I was looking at the IGT thread and saw that they were having problems with the S2000 reel strips not being able to be cleaned without fading. I have a problem with my proslot the center reel 7's on my Diamond Line Blazing 7's are peeling. Not anywhere else on the reel, just the 7's. When the payline stops on a 7 you can see inside the reel cage.  Is anyone elsehaving this problem? I have never cleaned the reels, nor have I had to at this time. What is everyone cleaning the strips with? Steve told me how to find the reel strip numbers, hopefully  I can find a vendor for them.

Morning Buzz:

Sorry for the delay, work keeps getting in the way!!!  I looked at the machine: the following is listed on stickers on the bottom of the reel cages.

Reel 1      SMI 6892                      Reel 2   SMI 8209                                Reel 3 SMI 6892
              Tape # 1750                 Tape # 1498                                       Tape # 1752
              Position 1                      Position 2                                            Position 3

Hope this makes sense to you. Seems strange that the center tape is a much different set of numbers. I would have thought, maybe wrongly so that the numbers would all be of the same sequence or group?  Am still leanring.  just the center reel is peeling at this point. This is a Diamond Line Blazing 7's  2 coin, 3 reel proslot.

Thanks again!

I think Reel 2  SMI 6892 should be Tape # 1751?

Yes Bunker I would have thought that too. I just copied what was written on the sticker on the bottom of the reel cage. It just confirms that this was a mumbo jumbo of different parts, which led to the confusion in the beginning about this machine.
