I have an enhanced board that I am going to use the S2000 enhanced memory board on.
Setting it up looks like it wont be a problem. (Regular 5 reel, 9 line game display Bottom picture)
My question is about the display on the reel glass, do I need to change out the display?
Or will it work correctly with the memory board? (It is for a 20 line game Top picture is what is in the machine)
Also if I change out the reel glass, it would not match the 20 line display....
Thanks everyone!

I'm completely confused, and I've read your post like 11 times. Sorry, it's been a long week I guess. Are you going to a 9 line game or a 20 line game??? I understand top pic is what's in the machine now, but not sure what you're changing to. If you're going to a 9 line game, the top pic display will not work (as far as I know anyway).

I was afraid of that  Duh!  It looks confusing to me too   Tongue Out
Ok, I have a TL7s 5 reel 20 line machine with the enhanced board with the "R" board installed.
I want to remove the "R" board and install one of the memory boards / daughter boards that you use the chips and sound simm on.
So I will be going from a 20 line game, to a 9 line game.
I am wondering if I can just switch out the display from the 20 line one to a 9 line one?
I'm sure someone out there has done this before   yes
Thanks!

Yes you can.  You need to have an 802 board on the door I/O though, the one that faces the hopper, at least that is the case with my setup.  I'm assuming there's a molex connector connected to the current display board that goes to this door I/O card.

A slot collector is like a coin hopper in a machine that never pays out.  they just keep on accumulating assets.

Great, Thanks for the reply!
Yes There is a connector for the current display (20 line) , and the 9 line display connects as well.
I will check out the I/O card on the door.
Thanks again!

You can leave that display in there if you like.  It will reconfigure itself to 9 lines instead of 20.

Your current display will work fine with a 9 line game. I have 9 line games with both types of displays. I do have 802 boards in each one's door I/O board

Hi Roz,
Yes it works just fine. I just wanted to check with the experts here on NLG so I don't  mess anything up (no smoke....)  yes
It was really easy to set up, put in the chips & sound simm, turned on the machine, turn the key, hold down the button, close the door,
up and running. Looks like I need to get a different version chip this is only a single denom, and the scrolling message says insert tokens.
At least it is working........
Thanks everyone!
Jim.
