I turned my machine on and only the lights came on. DBV doing  nothing or anything else. I noticed a red light lit on hopper when I turned it back off. I am guessing it is the power supply but not sure. Help please. There are no codes as the display did not come on.

Hello,

That's not a good way to start off when you power him up.  Scratch Head

I'll try to help but its been awhile since I've got rid of my Pro5500.  I agree with you- sounds like the power is not coming up.    Let me go look up a few things first...

Ok, it may sound silly but you should check those circuit breakers inside the machine.

Here's what I was looking for from the manual.  Again, it sounds silly but check them anyways:

"Power ON Malfunctions
If the Reel and Feature Fluorescent lamps do not
illuminate, check the following:
1. Turn power switch OFF and confirm the machine
is plugged into a powered, grounded outlet.
2. Using the Overall Wiring Diagram as a reference,
confirm the power supply is properly connected.
3. Check circuit breakers.
4. Confirm the power switch is connected and
functioning.
5. Check for any loose or frayed wires.
6. Observe the System Reset LED on the MPU
board. It should illuminate briefly on power on."

Fluorescent light's are the only thing working. When I turn switch back to off, the red light on the hopper lights then fades away. No led on MPU at all.

Unfortunately I'm at the end of my data.   Scratch Head  Without cracking it open myself I cant offer much more other than to try to check & see if those power supply voltages are present.

Maybe someone else can chat in here.

Cheers,
Mark
