NEW MONITOR

(1/1)

twinpa:
Will a Ceronix or Wells/Gardner monitor fit into this machine and if so, what model # and am I correct to call this 1993 Bally  poker an s5500 upright? Thanks Ken

Belbtech:
The machine would be a V5500 (V for video & S for slot), as far as a monitor for the game, Ceronix had a 1490 in the early '90s, it had two separate connectors for the two pin power connector...one was marked TTL, the other Analog...I forget which was which, one for IGT the other for Bally-it won't hurt the monitor if powered up the "wrong" way you'll just get weird colors.

You might have a difficult time finding a 1490, Ceronix also had a 1492 out that came standard with the V5500, only one two pin power connector, I'm not sure but you might contact Ceronix to see if they have a LCD retro-fit for the game, probably pricey...but you wouldn't have to deal with used goods!

Hope this is of some help...

God bless,
