Our Bally s5500 started spitting the coins out into the coin tray...We have power to the Coin Comparitor and have checked the hopper...Any idea what could be wrong?
And does anyone knows where we can find a manual?

Thanks In Advance for the help

was this working and just stopped?   There could be various issues, but we need a little more info.  Does the display show a code?  a couple checks would be the door switch, or the coin optic board.  when the door is open what is the state of the comparitor?  when you depress the door switch what is the state of the comparitor?

Thanks,
Wayne

It had been working fine...and stopped suddenly. No codes are showing up. Please bare with me...I'm new to slots and don't know a lot. The light isn't lit up on the comparitor when the door's opened or when I depress the switch.

Did you accidentally turn it off by flipping the switch on the front of the MPU tray?
The one that reads Coin Mech.
