Ok. Finally getting somewhere with these Bally 5000+ BLACK GOLD machines. Now, I have 4 machines. A single jackpot (bar) 3-in-a-line "should" pay 10 credits. My machines are only paying 5 credits.  However, "Any jackpots ( bars )"  on the glass say it should pay 5. Any sugestions ? I have not removed or replaced any reels so they should be in the correct positions. Is there something in the set-up ?

 Thanks,
New to these machines, learning as I go.
 Dave.

Hay Dave,

Though I've never performed this test myself, it looks like you should try Diagnostic Test #10, Payout Test in the 5000+ manual.

Are you sure you have the right game chips installed in the machine?

Pretty sure. I was wondering where I can get a list of what game chip numbers go with which machines. Any ideas ?

That is a good question, I'd like to get a copy of it too if it exists.  Without the chip/program ID number, test 10 is the only other option, it should show you if all the pay out combinations match the pay glass.  Do you need the manual?

Yes, I have a manual and keypad.
