Hi

Personally I think board testers were good for the older games where you could actually attempt repairs down to component level. In those cases it was nice to be able to proble logic levels on the board with power applied. With the newer stuff its more a case of replacing assemblies. Another problem is gaming commissions having problems with the SW you need to get the test rig operational.  I have not worked with it but saw one at IGT Africa last week - Was told it costs big bucks. If your facility is willing to spend the bucks on test equipment go for it but i dont see it as something that will pay for itself in repairs.
