Try re-installing you old GAL chip and see if you get the same error, then put back the new one...

Sounds like you might have toasted the MPU board and/or the game chips...There is a MPU board on ebay you might want to try and get...Here is the link...

Thanks for the link. Do I try to get new chips too or just try the board first? Also what's with the gal chip I replaced? Can you tell if the original is fried?

I would say try the board first....As far as the GAL chip, use the new one...Most likely it is the good one...

Just bought the board on ebay. Am I going to have to do anything to the board other then swapping the chips? In the description of the new board the guy mentioned something about a cd with files on it?

Mostly check the jumpers and switch conf.  The CD might have the .bin files for your game...Let's see when you get it...

That's correct, its supposed to have the bin files for treasure tunnel. 6 files total. How will I know if I need to use the cd? Just set the switches, jumpers and new chips, plug the board in and see if it works?

I got my new board and put it in. It seemed like it started to work. The reels spun it said loading game and then this came up. Not sure what it means cause all the doors are closed.

I found that there is a switch that senses when the side door is closed. I can't access it right to check it with continuity to make sure its working correctly. I was wondering if there's a way the sensor can be bypassed by programming it electronically? I'm thinking that maybe the switch was always defective but the old board was programmed to bypass it which is why I never got this error code before but get it now since there's a new board in it now that recognises that the switch isn't working. Is this possible?

Do you have a bill acceptor?...If so, do you have the cash can?...Do you hear the bill acceptor cycling?
Turn off the power and set sw#1 post 10 to off...That disables the bill acceptor and should tell the machine you don't have one and should get rid of the error code  if I remember right...

I do have a bill acceptor and cash can. They are both in the machine but it does not cycle . I will try the switch thing in 5 hours when I'm done work. Thanks.

I turned the switch off and you were right. It got rid of the error code and the machine works now. Your really good at this. Lol. What can be wrong with the bill acceptor? I'd like that to work also. Thanks.

OK...That is good...Now it sounds like the cash can door.  There should be a white reed switch and a white magnet...The reed switch is on the left side of the cash can box assy. and the magnet should be on the cash door...Or they both there?...Maybe take photo's of those areas so I can see more...

There is a type of switch with 2 wires connected to it that you can see from inside the machine. It has a small metal piece that pushes up and clicks when I turn the key to lock the door of the cash box.

Sorry, I was thinking you had a SG300...I guess you have a SG-150...Try tracing the wires back to the MPU board and make sure the switch makes and brakes all the way back...I believe there is a 2 pin connector in-between the switch and the MPU...If that is not connected, you will get this error...

Also there should be a circuit board that attaches to the BV head...Do you have that board?...I believe the door close switches attach to that and then run back to the MPU board via a ribbon cable...

That is it...Looks like everything is wired...Lets recap, you installed the cash can all the way-closed the door and locked it-Now turn sw1 post 10 back on and see what happens...Does the bill acceptor cycle?...Do you still get the error?

That's all correct. I never had a problem like this one before. It's just started since I replaced that main board. I was thinking that maybe the cash box door switch has always been bad but there's a way to program the board to bypass the switch which may have been done by the company that I purchased it from and when I installed the new board I have the problem now because its not bypassed on the new board. Is something like that possible? I was ordered to go to dinner by the wife so I'll check it again with the number 10 switch back the way it was in a couple hours. Thanks so much for all your help.
