I cant seem to track this down.  After dusting off a Sigma SG300 and powering it up I keep getting Ram data is wrong.  I turn key two times and can play for a while.  Machine just locks up. Everything stays in the exact last state it was in.  When I power down/up same thing.  Ram data is wrong / turn key / play for a while / locks up.  Sometimes I can play for a few minutes and sometimes just inserting a coin will lock up the machine.

When I restart the machine, all settings are back to default (sound especially)

I checked voltage, voltage is within .01V for the 3 different voltages.
Battery is disabled.
Ram chips are soldered in so I know their not loose.
Did a clear a few times in addition.

Any ideas?

One of mine does this too. Turn the key, and it will play.
I dont know why it does this either. I have the battery check off as well.
I will just pull the board out, check everything, plug everything back in good,
Check the 40 pin cable that goes to the door.  It will usually play for quite a while after that.
Do you still have that annoying door on that covers the mpu board?

Yes, the door that covers the MPU is still there but it doesnt seem to have any type of contact.  Biggest problem is the instability of the game, it will play for a few then just lock up.

I took the doors off of mine. I don't know how many times while working
on the machines, you shut the main door and the door that covers the mpu is down,
and the edge of the door hits right into the door cable.
Hope you get your machine figured out!
