1)  Okay, my first question involves removing the stacker.  I open the little door on the side, but can't figure out how to remove the stacker without sticking a little screwdriver in there to release the latches on either side.  Perhaps these were made to require a special tool to remove these as a theft deterrent?  If not, what is the trick?

2)  And I cannot get the acceptor to accept money.  At first I got it to take money, but it would spit it back out without giving credits.  Now it won't take bills at all.  I just6 did a jackpot reset after the customer had a jackpot without enough money in it.  I don't know if these require a set chip like the IGT's use to get the bill acceptor to work.

Any help would be appreciated....

There is a special Cash can removal tool, but most people use two credit cards (one on either side) to release the cash can...The bill acceptor will not accept any bills if the cash can is not properly seated and the door is not close with a lock latch ( you can disable that)...Hope this helps...

I use a table knife.
As for the bill acceptor. push the red button above on=off switch until bill acceptor comes on on front panel. I think it's the bet switch you push to toggle between on & off.
Restart & your ready to go.

Okay, guys.  I have the bill validator turned on now, and it lets bills go in, but it's rejecting bills.

It says "$5 $10 $20 $50 $100" so I guess it doesn't take $1 bills?  Either way, the $5 bill I'm using for testing is one of the big-face fives, so I'm wondering if it's rejecting because it only like the old small-face bills?

From what I've read, I can fix this by changing the head to the 200, and maybe doing a firmware update, but not sure if the customer wants to pay for that...

I'm sure yours takes OLD bills. I got another head from Jim @ Blue Ridge that takes newer bills. It's a pain in the butt looking for old bills.
