So I'm playing my IGT Fortune one off and on as I organize my room. Without warning, while I was filing some paperwork, an alarm goes off in the machine and the screen says CALL ATTENDANT. I had no idea why. I was playing some loud music. Maybe "it" didn't like it? So I simply turned the reset key and all was good. The very next play I got THIS three of a kind! I got it AGAIN about six plays later.
Well?

Sounds like the "Ghost of the dieing battery"...Check your battery voltage and watch out for goblins!

Haha! The 5500's were notoriously known for annihilating batteries.
It's no biggie swapping out a battery but I'd rather let it die so I can see
all the weird error codes that will pop up...call me ...uh...weird!   Tongue Out

No it's fine...I had the set it to auto-play the last time I used it...lol


The problem with shorttrackskater's machine is that the battery probably
went below the threshhold and was basically telling him to change the battery soon.
I really don't thin it was a warning that he was going go hit 3 sixes... rotflmao

The battery is new and the credit memory is fine. The weird thing is the ALARM going off (it's a siren) momentarily and then the CALL ATTENDANT coming on the screen.
