Any time you swap MPU boards you're going to have ram errors to clear. You shouldn't have to swap any chips either, just swap the MPU's clear the ram errors with the jackpot reset key and see if it works on the other errors. I assume you've reseated the cash can and checked to make sure the enclosure door is closed or the switch on it is bypassed? If it ends up being the MPU the first thing you should look for is corrosion around the big green 3 cell battery as traces for door optics run below the battery and common my get damaged when that battery corrodes.

have reseated cash can multiple times. have swapped with another can. green battery was eliminated and jumper wire installed. door optics have been bypassed. switch on back side of cah can housing has been bypassed. all bypasses done previously some time ago............good mpu is coming out of my tabasco and the pcb is a 504 with sg363's, sb127, vso11.................the 4x diamond I wanna try it in is pcb 502 with sg 155, sb196, vs 009.................(unrelated i have ordered sg363 to replace the 155 for the long term reliability on 4x diamond).....while we are at it, there is another smaller pcb attached to top of mpu, is this an enhanced thing? does it it need to be switched out when swapping mpu during testing?

That daughter board is your multimedia board with sound simm for enhanced sounds. You don't need to transfer it from one to the other unless you're not going to be swapping the MPU's back to their original machines. You will likely have to set enhanced sounds back up after testing though

Swapped mpu. Cleared ram errors. "close main door" message shows on display.(which I don't understand because this mpu works perfect in tabasco it came out of.)Have tried mpu white  button to clear but can't make this "close main door" display go away. Re-installed original mpu. Cleared ram errors. passes memory test. netplex devices. reels reverse order spin. play 3 credits shows on display then immediately goes into  "door open Mb" and " stacker error". as stated in previous posts, bypasses have been done. cash can in or out, bill validator in or out, main door open or closed , hopper in or out.......doesn't matter, produces same errors.

UPDATE....Tried tabasco mpu again. After ram clears, it is working AOK. Gonna leave in & play for couple days, power on/off, etc. If stays aok think I will order mpu.
