Hi Guys need some help on my Bally proslot S6000 Blazing 7's machine. I have had this machine for 4 months now with no issues and lately I am having a few glitches with my machine. About 2 weeks ago I noticed that my bill validator would intermittently stop working while playing the machine ( green & red while playing) Sometimes it will be fine then other times it will go red for over half an hour, then on & off, on & off. I have removed and reinserted the bill validator, cash box, cleaned the bill head and have done a complete clear in the past and it still come and goes. I have swaped out boards with my other machine and the problem seems to be in the board because it will do the same thing on my other machine, any suggestions. Thx Scratch Head  Help

If that board does same in other game I'd look for another board.

Thanks guys , I was hoping that it would not be in the board but it defiantly is pointing in that direction. I will monitor the problem because it is very intermittent at this point and only seems to happen when the machine gets warm.

try to reseat all of the chips on the board with the issue.  Heat can cause expansion, and if the contact isn't 100% can lose contact when hot. Reseating can improve the contact surfaces.

Thanks,

Just to follow up..... It has been two weeks now since I removed the board and gave every chip a gentle tap with a screwdriver handle, the problem has not returned so maybe it was a loose or bad contact somewhere in the board.

Thanks for letting us know.  It's great that it worked.
