Within the last few weeks I have replaced batteries in 2 different Game Makers. I have cleared and set all settings & calibrated. On both machines I get the picture of the belly door open and cannot get rid of the error. These are both upright machines. I have them set for upright. Am I missing something in the settings? They are manufactured 05/97  Please help hissy fit

My slant top 2000 Game Maker had this problem. It was bad door optics. Try to realign them. Good luck.

I don't have the machines here. I will look into that. Both machines were working perfect, hard to believe both machines could have door optics problems, but you never know.

Your belly glass door may have  (mechanical)  switch ...Open up belly door and look in the upper  left corner for door switch.  You might also note on the monitor when you open belly glass door ... will that show up on screen as  belly door or  (other) door open ?

Most upright GMakers do have  pulsed optics on the main door... just check connectors on cab / door  optics.  (still assuming you have door "optics"  and not mechanical door switches.)

Machines are both working again. applause Problem was wrong setting for door type. Neither machine I found out had door optics. I had set the door type to pulse optics instead of mechanical so machine was looking for the optics. Thanks for all your help. Ed
