--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hello,

I have the three tourney chips and 23 mains on a GM 7200.  I was wondering if anyone has had success setting up the Tournaments.   An earlier post from Ricker talked about a switch that needs to be installed behind the bill validator.  I'm unable to locate that switch or any wires that it can connect to.    I think this may be why it won't give me an option to change tourney mode on during reset.  How do I buy this switch if I don't have one?  I bought my GM from Ford (a regular poster here) and he installed a Cash Encounters (Multi chip slot game) sound card and deluxe sound speaker from behind the bill validator.  Are the wires I need connected to connect to the switch connected to the speaker?

This is from an earlier post by Ricker....

"Tourney mode:  If I remember, you have to have the tourney chips. There are 3. Poker, slots, and keno. I have never seen the keno tourney chip. If anyone has it, I am still looking.  You also have to install a switch, key or other.  This sets the time/credits for tourney play.

If you have an upright machine the wires for this switch are located behind your bill validator, and are labeled. Anyway mine are. You will also find speaker connections for the deluxe sound board there."

These tournament chips sound awesome.  I hope I can make it work!
Thanks,
Ben

Hey hey,

Depending on your cabinet, below(or above) your jackpot reset key, may be a knockout hole for switch. Any kind of switch, key or otherwise will work, in fact i guess you could just touch the wires together no.  That's if you can find the wires. I will look to see if I can trace to where they connect to backpane a little later and color.

Hi Ricker,

I bought a key switch and connected it to key switch #2.  Do I activate tourney mode during a reset? I assumed that was the time.  It still skips tournament On/off when I go thru the reset by putting clear chip in P10.  What am I missing?

Thanks,
Ben
