Post by: sopat on August 10, 2010, 03:09:42 PM
I have an IGT S+ and i would like equip it with a progressive game controler.
What are the differences between CHAMP II  and CHAMP II+ ?
Can i set this kind of controler easily on my S+ ?
Else what are the difficulties ?
Thanks for your help.

You should browse this folder for the mountains of problems with CHAM systems on S+

That should read - mountains of information (not mountains of problems).

ChamII requires a CON2 controller to drive it.
The CON2 is a link controller.

The ChamII+ operates as a standalone controller.

To program the ChamII+ you need a PC with a serial connection (Windows 98 recommended, XP) - Vista and Windows 7 are not compatiable.
The program is called PSP

You need a slightly modified 9 pin serial cable.
