How hard is this to interface and program?
We might be able to score more of these?

I am not absolutely sure but I believe a Cham3 / Cham3+ is the same as a ChamII / ChamII+
The difference being that the entire board is on the back of the display.

That might be good news...
Hopefully the label on the EPROM is readable.
There are also displays available for the CHAM-2 series..
I have a few of those too I picked up. So far everything is good or new

Good news!
I have a bunch of these coming in this weekend, looking at $15 each plus shipping to your location. I want to offer these to NLG members first.
I will pretest EACH and EVERY one of them, NO DUDS.
Will ship them USPS Priority (cheap). They require 6 to 12 volts for power, do not require the ribbon cable as they are a daughterboard installation, they sit piggyback on your display.NO cables are supplied! you are on your own for the interface cables. They are not "plug and play" We will all learn together on this.
Displays....
He has a number of "Eight Cell" displays, differant sizes, I will find out what he wants for those.
Disclaimer....
I am honest on this. My "Profit" will be about $2.00 on each one of these. I am not trying to make money on these. People here have been VERY VERY good to me (why does that sound familiar?) I am doing this as a favor to the people on NLG. PLEASE limit your request for them to ONE OR TWO as I want everyone here that wants one to get one. I really DONT want to see a request like "I will take 25 of those ASAP" The $2.00 is for my wife to drive these to the post office and get them out to you.Shipping will not be overnight, more than likely in a week or so...
Pictures and more info to follow (displays and boards)

Kirk- Please put me down for 2 of them. They'll go to great use in my gameroom -- not for resale.

Are these complete units or just the display part??  If it is a whole unit - I would be interested in two for myself...

Kirk, I can't remember if you got my address or not?
1 incomplete unit without ribbon cables is fine for me...
the ribbon cables are they 10-pin or 20-pin?

I think there are no ribbon cables needed with these things -- all of the circuitry is mounted on the back of the display.  If I understood Kirk's post correctly, all that is missing is the wires that would connect to the machine to get the coin-in pulse, and perhaps power wiring.

Kirk,

K+ for your efforts for our members, and for supporting their addiction!  Clap Clap Clap Cry Laughing

If available, I would be interested in tinkering with 2 of them.
