Hello,  and welcome to NLG.

1. I moved your post to the Video Gaming Machines and titled it Game King Upgrade.
When you are posting a new question please choose forum Index and choose the appropriate section for your question by starting a new thread. Please feel free to REPLY to any posts where you wish to make a comment about the topic at hand.

2. I deleted a number of your duplicate posts. You don't need to post the same thing all over the place, You only need to post once and folks will reply to your posts.

I beleive there are two versions of the game king. One that uses EPROMS (older) and one that uses SIMM boards. To change your games you would usually just procure the board with the correct software and swap it out. I also believe that some other games may also be embedded and you simply have to enable them in the setup. I am not sure how this is done but I am sure one of the many experts on this platform will jump in shortly.

12 Games at 1 time is the limit on the game you are looking at, but there are probably many different version themes on the software available, but you can't have more than 12 active at 1 time, the games you see today at the casino's have much newer hardware and software, in order to tell what you have you will need to go into the version info on the setup page of the machine menu

Jim-

I know a friend of mine has his set up as a multi-denominational machine and then has (I believe) 12 different games per denomination (so he can play all the different games by switching denominations).  Are there only certain Game Kings that have that ability (or only certain software packages)?  I'm genuinely interested for myself for the "someday" when I buy one -- I'd like to do a setup like my friend's machine.
