I saw the "clear all" jumper in your pics. The reason I asked is that the XT operators manual says to pull out the CMOS RAM at location U29 and then replace it to completely clear the RAM. Strange they didn't mention the jumper? Maybe the jumper was added later.

I still think the key chip is a mismatch to the game. The operators manual states; "Game uses Security-minded Electronic Game Selection Key."

And I remember reading a couple of years ago that without the key the machine will not even bootup.

Ok so I'm not having any luck coming up with manuals/schematics etc..

So my other plan is this. Find a working board from a video slot machine, and put it in the one I have. I'll of course have to re-wire the plugs from the board for the buttons, service light, coin mechs, etc etc... But if I can find a board that has pinouts that should be no problem.

So anyone got a used video poker board laying around?
