I do a full clear and set the new denomination to 5 cents,select my games and when I reboot it goes back to 25 cents.If I look in the diagnostic it shows that it is a invalid denomination was entered.Any idea what I'm doing wrong.

after you select the new denomination are you pushing the self test button and holding it for about 3 sec.? I know I sometimes forget to do this.

no I'm not.I didn't know that I had to do that.Is the self test button on the screen or do you mean the cabinet switch?

This problem is normally caused by the Peripheral memory board having an EPROM installed in the configuration position, instead of an EEPROM.  The machine can't save any settings to the EPROM so it will always revert to what is on the EPROM.  The EEPROM is an obsolete part so that's why they get replaced with EPROMs when needed.
