Scratch Head I just got my first Bally alpha... Well, ok, I got 4 of them. propeller
On all 4 of the machines, I can get them all set up and working to the point where all I need to do is get the bill validators working. I have WBA 13's in the machines with ido 003 EPROMs. They work fine in my Bally 6000 machines, but not at all in my Bally alphas.

When I set up my alpha it gave 2 otions to choose from to set up the bill validators, jcm or mars. I set them to jcm because most machines have jcm and WBA in the same category setting... I have WBA 13. Anyways, after I set it in the settings, I get a billvalidator error message.

The machines are all ready to play... But alas, I cannot load any money in them to play them.  bawling
Has anyone ever come across this problem? I know alphas are new to the home market, but hope someone has come across this before... And solved the problem. Help

I got it fixed. The Bally alpha's require a RS232 board on the WBA.

What does the RS232 board look like?
Is it the main replaceable board(3 screws) on the WBA?
Is RS232 printed on the board?
