Title: mpu "rebuilding" Post by: ChillTech on November 12, 2013, 10:48:40 AM Newness here. I just got an IGT Draw Poker with a birthdate of 1/82. This unit was previously left on a back porch uncovered and open. I've spent the last 4 days cleaning switches,the monitor,all the contacts,etc. It works fine but I have a concerned with the mpu. Mickey Mouse and friends left there "stuff" all over the boards. There's several spots of corrosion around every chip and component. Does anybody rework these boards or are they readily available? As stated, I got it all up and running now but I don't want to risk killing it. Also,how important is the battery? This one is missing but I haven't found one yet. Thanx in advance for any help.
