I have an IGT 2000. Have 3 reel with bonus reel. I have everything working except backlite.
Would appreciate any help as to what harness is missing to get them to work.
Ford.

Looks like the power to the controller board is not connected .. top left.

Harness should be hanging around there in that area.

Only ones are a 3 plug & a 14. Both have a jumper in them. Can't find a 6 to go in there.
The one that plugs in there, where does it go to?

look at the connection to the power supply sometimes the power plug you need is tie wrapped to it.

The Pwr. harness if never used is wire tied to the main harness and under the tray.  I posted this same thing two years ago here.  Just so long as you do not have a old vision or a frankenstein it will be there.  A long long time ago I pulled my hair-(what's left of it) out on this.  It is easy to miss in a factory set-up not using back-lit.   I said under the tray and that may be mis-leading,  It is in the main loom in that general area and towards the rear.  B.

I think I have a Frankstein. There is no plug like that anywhere.
Back in Oct. & Nov. I got other parts from Jim from Blue Ridge and he said he would make a cable up for me.
The last I talked to him he was still on his back. I didn't know what cable it was but now I do. He said about hooking up where
printer hooks up.
I will have to take another way around.
Thanks for help.

that's your problem, that plug was a direct output from the power supply, it also was part of the cable that went directly to the power input connector on the motherboard, bottom plug  right side.  the plug on the backlit controller is a 6 pin plug. it only uses 4 of the pins. It supplies +25vdc (orange wire, black/ orange tracer) and +13vdc( red wire and black with red tracer) You can find these plugs going up to the pass thru connector from the bottom cabinet to the top box.

the input pins on the plug to the backlit controller are :  top row,  no connection, black/red, black/orange
bottom  row,  no connection, red        , orange

the wiring in a s2000 is consistent for power distribution,  red wire, black wire with red tracer =+ 13 vdc
orange  wire, black wire with orange tracer=+ 25vdc

Ford  Send me a email tomorrow and remind me to take a look in a parts machine I have. ( It's out back in a storage trailer to dark and cold to look tonight ) Maybe the harness you need is still in it.  Email is in my profile.

If so, please post it up here or email me it and
I'll make him a harness if I have the parts.

From what I'm understanding on this so far is that you need that
reel controller board to have some power via the unoccupied 6-pin header.

Jim (Blueridge) suggested to you, I believe, to get that power from the DBV harness?
Jim (Stars) is saying you should probe around with
a multimeter and tap into it. (13V red & 24V orange wire)

Have you tried to do this yet?

I can dig around my personal s2000 this evening and
see if I can locate a power source to tap from.
If so, I will construct an adapter harness which can run
from the source to the reel controller board for you.
I found a 6-pin Molex housing which will work for the controller board header.
I don't know what other molex housings I'll need yet - to make an adapter...

Please let me know ASAP if you hear of anyone that might
have a harness for you so I don't make this for nothing...lol
Thanks!

Clap Clap A big thank you to Ripohl (Bob)  +1 (Karma, or whatever) for the harness. IT'S THE RIGHT ONE & IT WORKS.
I did quick video. I know I have a noise in it. I just hooked up to make sure it works. Now I have
to pull wire harness apart & take old out & new in.
Thanks to all you guys for your help. Now I'll have a good Christmas & I hope you all have the same.

Got all wires back in place. I have a noise in L speaker which I didn't have before. Seems to be picking up interference of some kind.

Excellent Ford!  Looks great, and yes, Bob IS the man that can.  Regarding the noise, if it's a buzzing/humming type of sound, the cure is a 504b board, or the resistor workaround which eliminates the noise and requires you to raise your volume in the setup menus.

Either one might be worth a shot.
