The Eprom I have is labeled: DBV-145-SH ID-044P USA V3.20-04 (3DDB)

This acceptor doesn't seem to like the newest 100, colored $20.

What do I need?

the last update for the DBV 145SH ID 044 is the v3.40 and takes every thing up to the new $50. There is no updates for the new 10 and new 5 you have to go to the DBV 200 and it fits the trans port for the DBV 145 if you need a chip or head my number is 928-768-3113

There is a rewritten chip available here in Texas for IDO44 that will accept the $5 and New $10 bills. I don't know who rewrote it, and it may very well involve copyright violations if one were to get caught with it, but I have run across several of them. I sure it could be found down here with a little checking around. let me know if you are interested.
