Trying to convert over to a I Dream Of Jeannie S2000 slot and after using the clear chip and re-installing my SB chip this is where I am now. Any idesa on this?

Do I need to be using a certain Version chip and a certain game 1&2 chp?

Thanks,

David

I have several ideas and questions on this...

What chips are in the other chip sockets right now?   arrow
You used a clear chip - any reason why?  Scratch Head

Also, is the SB in the socket in the correct direction?
Is it in the right socket?
Are there any chip legs folded underneath the device?
Have you checked?
What are you converting the IDOJ from?
What IDOJ SB chip do you have? There are several versions...
What numbers are on the chip?

Basically, you cannot just grab any chip and install it in the machine ( you need to know what you are doing first)  - so, yes...
you need to be using certain Version chips and certain SG game chips which will be entirely dependent
upon what SB chip number you have installed in the SB chip socket.
Certain SB chips work with certain SG chips and certain version chips.

I have many more questions but I'm sure I gave you enough homework to do...

Try doing a search on this website for "I Dream Of Jeannie" and see what others have done.
I'm sure you will get a lot more answers to your installation of a IDOJ.

Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't the IDOJ award glass a "clone" game of "Double Diamond"?  Scratch Head 2

which chip sockets? I cleared it because I was swapping it from one gam to this one. Do you not have to do a clear procedure when converting from one game to another?

Thanks,

David

Did you figure out what was wrong? It might help others if you post your findings.
A CRC error sounds like one of your chips was either corrupted, inserted incorrectly, or had bent pins.

sorry about that I should have said that it was indeed that the SB chip was corrupt. It may be best to leave the posting up as you suggested.

Thanks,

I tried to help him, but all my SB100037 chips do the same thing, got some from others with the same result. You get testing memory then a blank VFD. The SB100038 (3 coin version) works perfectly. So that rules out any other issue. Anyone have a working SB100037 (I dream of jennie 2cm 3reel).
