i have no sound when the machine is on i have the vol all the way up.i replace the sound board that was not it.some time when i turn the machine on i have sound and then other times i turn on the machine and no sound? when then the sound is not working all i get is staic?

I have seen the MPU board cause CDS machines to not have sound, sounds like yours is in the early stages of losing it for good. Try swapping the game board with a known good one.
