Wild Thing!

« on: March 27, 2011, 11:35:51 PM »

Not sure how many pinball collectors we have here, but I wanted to reach out and see if anyone can help me with a spring/summer project I just picked up. It's a 1986 Williams PIN*BOT.

Pics here: http://www.robsgameroom.com/RGR/Project_PINBOT.html

It's rough all around, but does work 100%. So, now starts the search for some needed parts for my restoration. I know that plastic sets, mini playfield, displays and some decals are
available (and that new playfields are due out by end of year), but I am also looking for the following:

NOS/restored Playfield (would rather not wait until end of the year)
NOS/Nice used Blue ramp
NOS/Nice used Visor cover
NOS/Nice used Translite
New/used Cabinet stencils
NOS/Nice used Helmet plastic (that covers the blue ramp)
NOS/Nice used Clear ramp flap
NOS/Repro Decals (for everything???)

I'm sure there is more, but if you have any of these or know someone that might, please send me an email/PM and let me know.

Thank you!

Rob

Well, you should've been in Texas this weekend. We had the Pinball festival that ended today.

Congrats on the new pin Rob!  A future hobby that I will enter at some point in my life.  I love pinball.  PIN*BOT was and still is a favorite of mine.

Pinbot is a fun game to play, although it's not that hard to beat (achieve the goals for high scoring.)

Agreed.  yes  I spent many hours playing Pin-Bot in four-player competition at my friend's house during various parties and get-togethers. propeller

There are decal sets on e-bay. Probably some other stuff you may need.
