Over the past few weeks the printer on my all star video poker has been giving me trouble. Lots of different error codes etc. I did notice that when it did print that the print was somewhat compressed.

Now I'm noticing that the rubber roller doesn't want to take up the paper. It's turning, just everything is too smooth and it doesn't want to grab. Is there something I can do to the roller to make it less smooth?  Is this something that needs to get replaced once in a while?  I wet the roller just a bit and it helped but I'm sure it's dried out since

Thanks
