Hello All,
I've got my PC communicating with a PE+.  I can get meter information and response to General Polls (using both SASTest and the IGT sas test program).  But no luck with the Legacy Bonus function.  Does anybody know if the EFT/AFT functions will work with a PE+?

Also, I'm using a USB to RS232 Adaptor (it has the HL-340 Chipset) and it works like a charm.

  Thanks in advance.

Do you have the Program Summery Report that matches your game chip(s). not the theme chip?
IF your game does not support EFT or bonus system (external) then you may be out of luck.

The commands would be the same no matter the platform.

Thank you for the quick reply.  I'm a noob at this, how do I get the summary report.  This is what I get when I send a $1F command
$1F = Gaming Machine ID = MG
$1F = Additional ID     = 000
$1F = Denomination      = 02
$1F = Max Bet           = 00
$1F = Progressive Group = 00
$1F = Game Options      = 0100
$1F = Pay Table ID      = XM003P
$1F = Base Percentage   = 9678

Would the information be on one of the chips?

Thanks in advance.

Hi

You can either pull the board and check the chips (we need the XPxxxxxx) number or turn the reset key until you get to the screen that lists the details

You can also step through the various setup screens by using the self test button. One of these should list your options as per attached pic. If you chip supports bonussing it should appear but will say disabled. You will need the relevant keychip for your setup to change this.

PE supports both EFT and bonussing and with Andys App bonussing confirmed working on XP000153

Here is the screen shot.  I'm guessing that my version is a bit old.  My SAS setup screen only let's you set the address.  Anybody know where I can get a set of chips that has a newer version of the SAS?  Thanks for your help.

SAS is not an option or add on program. Its built into the Program / data chips that you are running.

For each set of chips there is a document that accompanies them called a PSR.
PSR= Program Summary Report and it details what functionality is available in that set of chips.

As suggested before you invest in a different set of chips or even replace the ones you got get a hold of the PSR to understand the capabilities.

What chip numbers are you running now and perhaps some kind sole can send you the PSR for the chip set that you have.

Based on the screenshots he posted, he's running the Multi Poker chipset XM00003P (Data) with XMP00006 (Game).  I don't have any PE+ PSRs, though.  Sad

So, the ultimate questions are

1) The multipoker version that I have installed, is the SAS version able to support EFT?

2) If so, is there a specific Set/Clear chip I need (I think I have a Clear 04 chip, I'll have to check)?

3) If this version does not support EFT, does anybody know who has a version that would support EFT?

Unfortunately, the software I'm running does not mention EFT anywhere in the setup screens  Duh!  I am able to get General Polls, Meters, Enable/disable machine and other commands.

Again, thanks for all your help everybody.

You may have to consider switching to a single game chip set in order to get this working. Unfortunately the Multi games never made it to our side of the pond so dont have any info on this.

Thank you guys.  That's what I thought.  I'm searching high and low for a different set of chips.  I did run across a document from Sult's notes that show a SET033 chip will do denomination, bill val enable/disable, and the SAS 4.0.  I only have a 004 and 038 chip. So, that might be another issue with whatever software I install.

Regardless, I don't want to get off topic of this forum.  I will post what I've found.
