Title: Ceronix 1492 into Sigma Game
Post by: badbaud on December 10, 2008, 03:57:29 AM
Trying to convert Ceronix 1492 to work with Sigma game.

Bally jumper mods got me proper video and H/V signals but
this Sigma board puts out 26.47KHz (measured) for the horz signal.

How do I mod the LA7850 section to handle this?

The horz pulse width is wider (say 100x wider) then the standard IGT
if that makes a difference.

Put the 3K horz adj pot onto board  to adjust freq. but most I get is a stable
picture doubled twice on screen.

Any more adjustment past that and the monitor kicks off.

Bought a Ceronix 1493 VGA board and with the proper tube (won't work with standard 1492 tube)  got a game display.
