I have a WMS 40X machine that I am getting a lobatt error code on.  That battery measured 3.1v. I went ahead and removed the battery holder and replaced it with a soldered in battery and I still can't get rid of the lobatt message.  Do I need a reset prom to clear this?

According to the manual you have to use a clear chip to restore data whenever you change batteries.

You must have the right denom  clear chip for it, wms 400 used a different  clear chip for  each denom , 5, 10, 25, and 1.00

Which chip is the cmos ram and where does the power come in? I'm still getting loBatt error.
