What happened between the time that it was working and the point of failure? Was the machine being played? Had it sat for weeks? Did you move it, open it, remove bills from the stacker, etc.?

You said that the machine will "dong" one time.  Does any message appear on the LED displays (credit display and the like) on the front of the machine, or anything on the Dotmation display?

Sorry, I made an assumption that your machine had an orange dot matrix display screen in the top box, but I'm guessing it doesn't.

Will the machine still play normally with coins?  Do you leave the machine on all the time or turn it off when not in use?  If you leave it on all the time, have you tried turning it off and back on?  Do you have a clear chip for your game?
