I have a non-dotmation Williams X-Factor machine.
I have been asking around and no one has heard of this machine.
I see Rudy's deals has a brand new set of reel strips for this machine. I attached a picture.
My machine is complete except for the most important part. I need the game chips.

Has anyone ever run across this machine before? and can you provide me leads
game chips installed on the CPU in my machine read "Big $ BRD" I've never heard of this game either.
I'll post pictures of the glass and pay-table later.

Have you talked to Clay (CFH)?  He's the WMS expert 'round these parts, and he has some friends who work or worked for WMS who might be able to lend some insight.

Does that have a shadow box behind the top glass, then, for the X-Factor feature?

Yes, Top glass has a shadow box and lights up with the pay feature.
Please ask around, I'm sure someone has run across this machine before. Any help is appreciated.

I see on azslots website that they have some wms non-dot game eproms but not X-factor. They do have X-factor with dot.
Might try them, maybe they can find it.   azslot.com

Just a curious observer...

Did this problem ever get resolved? Was this a prototype machine that was never released, that's why it is scarce? Would the game chips from a Dotmation X-Factor do anything in this machine? You said the cpu board did have game chips that were labeled with a mysterious game name, do they allow the game to run?

Thanks!

No the problem was never resolved. I removed the glass kit and shopped out the machine to a High Speed.
The chips that were on the CPU were just the XU2 and XU3 and listed as "Big $ BRD" Bo sound chips were with it.

If someone would like the glass kit, I'm willing to part with it.

Did the labels on the XU2 and XU3 chips look like other WMS Factory labels so that it seemed like they were legit and something WMS had produced? I suppose in that case the machine wouldn't come up and go in game mode?  Just curious...

Without the complete chip set I found no purpose in testing them.
The labels looked handmade and did not match the glass kit

Thanks, I'm curious about things like this that are possibly related to WMS dotmation machines.
