All-

I was just going through the IGT SP & ST Lists in the S+ section cleaning up a couple of things and I came across the SP993 which wasn't well documented in that list.

It appears to be a 10MHz SP chip for types 0, 1, 4, and 5 which supports SAS EFT and SAS Bonusing, plus song selection for type 5 games, plus stand-alone or stand-alone/linked combinations of progressives.

I don't think I've ever played with one of those chips, but it looks like it might be a pretty flexible one to use for many S+ SAS machine applications.  Just FYI, for anyone interested.
