Hello,

I have an IGT S2000 Super Spin Sizzling 7 (3 reels + 1 bonus).

I played about 72,000 games without any problem and yesterday, during a game, the 3 main reels stopped normally and it hangged on the roller bonus, the candle flashed and I had these messages on the screen:

"CALL ATTENDANT" - "DISPLAY COMMUNICATIONS FAILURE" - "CLOSURE M"

I turned off the machine, restarted, held 3 seconds the button white CPU, touched the connectors .... nothing has changed.

I switched on the machine 24 hours later, but the same error message appeared.

Here's a video of starting the machine:

Do you know the cause of this problem? Thank You!

All you should need to do is turn the machine on and when the reels start spiningg slowly open the door and turn the jackpot key. The reels should stop. then close the door and the machine should finish the last spin. This yousually happens when you open the door or the machine gets some sort of input or tilt in the middle of a spin.

Check the wiring going to the display,
it is a VFD display (Vacuum Fluorescent Display)

Make sure they have not been damaged or a wire has come out of the 2 connectors at the VFD
There are 2 versions of the VFD
One version VFD And driver are one board
The other version driver is mounted below display on the inside door panel.
in either case check that wiring, I suspect it may have been pinched in the door hinge.

Also check the wiring going to the LED display on the right side of the door as well.

First of all, thank you very much for your answers  applause

I started to check all the wiring going to the display as mentionned by Foster, but all was alright.

And then, I tried what suggested Brianfink (thinking I had already done it but not in the good order), and it worked !  +1 (Karma, or whatever) Clap

Thank you once more for your good advice, I am enjoying my machine !!!
