It wasnt the hopper there may have been somthing loose

My Big Cheese has the same problem. Only difference is mine is beyond reseting all the time and just kinda sits there with the 3 right hand red LED's on, and the orange LED is sort of dim. Now if I move the board around it tries to boot, sometimes it will but doesn't last for long.
I'm leaning towards a cold solder joint like StatFreak mentioned. I have already reflowed the main board, didn't see anything suspicious but sometimes it don't come out and slap you in the face. My next step is the backplane. Pulled it out tonight but just too tired to do any reflow work tonight. A lot of the machinery I work on have circuit boards with similar style plugs on them, and sometimes they just need to be reseated. Unfortunately not the case here. I feel for ya Jalpert, these problems can be frustrating sometimes. I'll post any findings I come up with. Oh, and I would sell it after I get it fixed but my wife would kill me  frying pan
