On this machine, when I turn it on, the vertical is out of whack and the screen is split from top to bottom. When I adjust the vert. it is fine, but when I turn the machine off and then back on later, it goes back to the split vertical screen, like it's not holding the proper setting. Anyone know a fix for this>

It's been awhile since I've had a SMB on the bench. If that's one of those pesky Nintendo boards with horizontal and vertical frequency adjustment pots on the board then tweak those.

Otherwise, cap the monitor.
