Title: Help with restoring WMS Top Boxes Post by: jagroups on October 16, 2013, 08:30:15 PM Hey gang, I have a few top boxes that I would like to clean up and restore. I've never done this before and have zero knowledge about the electronics behind it. However, I'm a very determined guy!
Here's the first one I would like to start with. I don't have the cabinet for this game. Is there a way that I can get this plugged in and lit so I can see it working? I'm sure there is, but I wouldn't know how. Plus I don't want to alter the wires on this. Didn't know if there is a rigged way to do this so I can plug it into a wall to test. The main thing I want to restore is the outter strip of lights. Are they the strip lights you can easily find in a lighting store? Also, all of the bulbs inside that light up the Monopoly Board. I would like to know how to change them and what kind of bulbs these are. Plus where to get them :) There's a few questions for now. If I get one topper done, I will be confident in restoring the others. Now if I can first learn how to get these lit... Thanks in advance! You can reply, PM me or sent and e-mail. I appreciate it.
