Resistance is futile. You will be emulated.

I saw a Superball 2000 in an airport about a month ago. It was basically a 50" LCD.
I am not sure what it used for force feed back but the whole machine shook pretty good.
There is a good series of pinballs out under mame. I have a Williams Diner (Dine Time) pinball.
The emulation is pretty darn good.

The HD 3-D looks impressive and they seem to have the game/ball physics well worked out. I also downloaded a copy to try. I'm not sure how it will look on a wide but short laptop monitor. My processor and memory might be a bit strained as well... stir the pot / get cooking

This is a *PERFECT* application for the flood of "720P" LCD and plasma HDTV's on sale.I have seen them around for under $1000 for 50 and 52" models....

I would love to see someone put this setup into an actual pinball cabint - so it looks like a pinball machine.  Anyone know of a manufacturer doing this??

You can use a MAME convertor.I have one that simply plugs into the PS-2 connector on a PC and you close contacts to emulate keystrokes. There are MAME sites and places like www.twistedquarter.com that have these goodies.
you simply wire the flipper buttons and other switches to this board and it makes the keystrokes that the MAME system understands.

There are also 5 Williams machines available for the Wii system. I have a real Taxi pinball and the Taxi game is on the Wii, but the real thing is stil the best.
