Hello everyone, another newbie here.I have 2 machines that I want to change the payout percentages on.One is a 5 times pay wild with a SB001000 chip in it.The other one is a triple diamond haywire with a SB100339 chip.Could you please tell me what key and ram clear chips I would need? Thank you

Key 31 and Clear 97 will be sufficient,  but a Key 45 and Clear 224 is a step up and wiill work for newer version S2000 themes also

FYI - the SB001000 chip is a compatibility chip so you can use S+ chips in your S2000.  The percentage for a S+ chip is set by the chip itself.  So the only way to change it would be to get a different S+ chip that is a higher percentage or replace the SB chip with a S2000 version of the game if it is available...

You could try to replace that S+ chip with a SB100065.  Maybe even swap the SG chips as well to a SG523.  The fine fellow here recommended that to me a while back and it worked out great.  In addition I changed my version chips too.

Thanks for the replies. So,on the 5 times pay wild, since it has the sb001000,should it be considered an s-plus as it is right now? I would just like to change the payout percentage as high as possible since it seems pretty tight. Also what would the sb100065 do? I'm willing to change out whatever needs to be done.Sorry for all the questions,I can work on arcade games but I know nothing about these.

The machine consideration difference is both physical and software related, you have a hybrid I suppose with that SB001000.  Check out this post for additional details. http://newlifegames.net/nlg/index.php?topic=20496.0

I'm not positive but I dont think you can change the % with that chip but I am not an expert.  There is a sticky posting here you can read a bit in to about the chips.  http://newlifegames.net/nlg/index.php?topic=16872.0

If you do change to the correct SB you also have to remove the SS chip as it is no longer needed (I learned that recently via this forum)

Hold on before you go ordering a SB chip.  SB100065 is for a 3 Reel 1 Line 3 coin
                                                            SB100057 is for a 3 Reel 1 line 2 Coin  both of them 5 X pay

Good catch there.  I don't have the 100057 SB and didn't think about the coin options.

The correct chip for Mbrower`s wild five times pay application is a SB100189  three reel, one line, three coin wild five times pay. I got him straight.
