I am new to this forum. I posted this message under shop talk.

I got a reel 1 tilt message after the machine attempted a mystery nudge.  I just got the machine about a week ago, and have had no problems with it. Any suggestions on how to clear the message.

open the main door and turn on attendant key this will clear the error
If error don't clear then check the reel motor or optics...

I hope that help you.

I tried that, didn't work.

How do you adjust the optics, and or how do you check the reel motors.

Everything worked great until it did a mystery nudge. Weird thing is that it had stopped on mystery nudge several times before with no problems.

FIXED.

After talking with the guy I purchased it from we trouble shot it. It was the strip on the reel. It was coming loose at the joint where the double sided tape holds it together. That was causing the reel to hit the front of the cabinet. Weird thing was that it worked fine until it landed onthe mystery nudge, and it tried to nudge reel 1 up. It just so happened that it was where the seam of the strip was and it was hitting the front of the glass. Wow, I didn't realize how sensitive the reels are.

Working fine now.
