Title: Another Bally 5500 Flashing 80 Question Post by: jdkmunch on December 16, 2008, 09:17:33 PM Hi all - I just got a new game kit for my 5500. When I plug in the new chips the machine gets error code 80 and blinks 3 time is succession. Is there anything at all I can do? or is it just a case that the personality chips are bad and I am out of luck :(

When I set the jumper and try I still get the error. I tried reversing the personality chips too. No luck. What type of equipment would I need to verify/backup/program these chips on my computer?
