I have 2 Bally's I'm getting working. I programed for no coin acceptor & no coin which there was none in.
When I'd start up, BV would cycle but would not take bills & light @ entrance would not light up.
I did have jumpers for hopper being removed.
I put in coin acceptor & hopper & everything works.
I have others setup for no coin acceptor & they work fine.
Well it works but have to have coin acceptor working.
Just thought I'd mention.

the small switch on the front of the main board has to be in the up position for the bill acceptor to work.  This switch is an easy way for a tech to turn off coin and bill acceptance when they want to put the machine out of service without turning it off.  This confuses people since it's marked coin acceptor.
