Buzz, that's a great price. Would you have one for 25 cents/quarters?

Ah, bummer. All my machines are quarters, and a topper would be neat.
What I'm really looking for is an interesting side light.
I have an IGT S+ quarter machine that was apparently the end unit in a row,
and had a lighted sign on the right side. I'd like to think it said something
cool like "HAROLD'S CLUB", but more likely said "RestRooms" with an arrow.
Any road, I'm looking for an appealing lighted sign to cover up the bloody great hole on the machine side.

If you can tell us where the holes are (or way better, provide a picture), we can more than likely tell you what was installed in that spot. A lot of holes are caused by player tracking equipment and external bill validator/acceptors. I, personally, have never seen a light/sign like you describe, although I do think it would have been very cool! One of the reasons preventing that, that I see, is IGT would not have supplied (or supported) an extra power supply/outlet for a casino sign. Game topper, yes, but a sign totally irrelevant to the actual slot machine? Not likely. It would be like asking Pepsi to add a "Restroom" sign to their soda machines. They wouldn't do it since there was no net benefit to them.

As I said, I have not seen such a thing, which in NO WAY, means it could not have existed. Just saying I've never seen a machine or pic of machine with the type of signage you are describing. If you have a picture of it, please share it!!! We'd love to see it!

Unable to take a successful photo: black holes on black plastic... no
So here's detail for 16" slant-top IGT S+ "Slam Dunk":

Clearly a casino modification, not something from the IGT factory.
1 1/4"diameter hole about dead square in the middle of
the upper section. That is, about 21" up from the handle-boss, and midway
front-to-back.

In addition, two related screwholes: clean thru, not tapped, showing
signs of star lockwasher on the interior:
One 1" to the right, and roughly 1 1/2" up;
the other 1" to the left, and roughly 3 3/8" down.

My measurements being somewhat crude by virtue of eyeballing the center
of the large hole ("electrical feed-thru"?)  I'd call this hole pattern
a 2" X 5" rectangle, vertically oriented.

Over the past many decades (I'm 70) , I've seen lots of machines in Tahoe (N & S) and Reno
with lighted signs on end units; and as a consulting engineer for slot manufacturers 'way back when,
I had to respond to end-user queries about available currents & voltages for such
"aftermarket" additions. And so while I have absolutely no clue what was originally
(or secondarily) hung on the right side of this machine, I like to think it was something cool.Smiley

Nothing would make me happier than to find a "CalNeva" sign that fits!

Thanks for the interest!
