I have a Bally 6000 with game Diamonds & Devils. payout goes to credits OK. When I hit the 10 Bonus Spins X 3
wins go hand pay. I'm tired of turning reset key to clear wins. Am I missing something in the setup?
Thanks for any help, Ford Scratch Head

This is an anomaly with this particular game theme in that during the bonus round the bonus credits won will not go to the credit meter unless the machine is tied into a casino validation server.  Your only option with this game theme if you want a semi-smooth bonus round without turning the jackpot key is to install coin mechanics and lots of coins for it to spit out during the bonus round.

Why would Bally do a sadistic thing like that??

Thanks Jim. Looks like I'll be putting in a hopper.

If you want to get away from using coins at all I could get you something that will allow the machine to pay out the coins automatically (without hopper) then it will add the credits back to meter.. so it would work just like the casino, you wont loose your credits by turning key, or have to keep reloading the hopper (besides it gets noisy during those late night slots plays)... I have been working on a project similar with my Bally's machines.. keep a look out I will post a video in the next week or so..

I have developed a couple PCB's to utilize the players club VFD display and keypad on the Bally's 6000 model (may work on the 5500 and others?? I only have 6000's and a couple IGT's)  to allow the user to enter credits, auto play machine etc. works with or with out hopper and coin mech. I have finally have 4 units ready for install on my machines, but have just been to busy. As well I don't know if there would be any interest from anyone else..

Red,

I think there would be a lot of interest in this
many of the members here(myself included) play with the player tracking display message and such
but this would be a big hit.

Please start a new topic when you get going on this
so it doesn't get lost in this thread.

Awesome.. Well there are done.. They work great... And i have thought of everything.. I can customize them for anyone's particular needs.. mind you I only have bally's 6000 machines, but from what I have read they will work on 5500 as well.  Right now I'm working on programming for a "Spin to win event" which will work well for stag and does and such. The Bally's is a great machine to work with. I will try and post my video and info on it tomorrow when I get some time.

(as well I have one for machines without VFD display, that can be used for adding credits, hopper bypass, auto-play. On my machines I use the "Change" button" Push the change button 4 times in 3 sec and it goes into credit mode, hold change button for 4 sec and auto play mode starts.) I love it.. sit back and watch... leave it for an hour.. if i hit big it will stop and wait for me..

well that's just a little insight.. i will get the video..

Thanks Guys..

Yeah no problem..

They are done, just making the harness's as we speak.. I will take the video tomorrow and post in the evening. From there we can discuss your machine and what will work best. I would need to change the program a little bit to fix the problem you are having with the bonus payouts on the machine. As well if your are using a VFD display and keypad. I will post pics of the units I have with my machines. From what I have seen online they are standard to almost every Bally's 6000 machine. I can change the program to adapt to anyone's specific needs. After you see the video, drop me a message and let me know what you think and if it will work for you.

Thanks..

I will get back to work now..  stir the pot / get cooking
