I was given a New Cherry/Fruit Bonus 96 Special Edition 3.62 board but the sound does not work.
I have tried adjusting the pot located at VR2 but it does not help. I was told it could be the sound
EPROM but don't know where it is on the board or if one is available. Anyone know?  Scratch Head

Looks like you're missing a chip.

What's written under the empty socket next to the unpopulated spot for the 76489 chip (which is a 3 voice sound chip + noise channel)...

Thanks jeddybear but coming from someone who can barely solder a battery in, I don't know where the capacitors are. Could they be at C6 or C9 location?
