I just got a megatouch xl game and noticed that there is not a hard drive in the bottom of the game but it dous have a cd drive with a disk in it that is located to the side of the machine. Does a megatouch xl not need a hard drive if it has this cd drive in it? I also have some megatouch maxx games that have a hard drive but no cd drive and they work fine. Main thing I need to know is if I will need a hard drive to make this xl game work.

xl will have either a cd player or a hard drive if its been upgraded  but not both cd that cd

So what I have is a XL that has not been upgraded to use a hard drive, and the current cd drive will be the operating software for this game?

yes if it works xl,s are getting old and can be a pia with the price of megas falling we try not to buy xl.s unless they are very cheap  25/50 bucks
