I have a weird problem with some of my 8-liner boards.  They dump the credits immediately.  The cabinet I'm using just has a DBA, no coin slot, so I add in a $20....it counts up....then immediately counts it all out!  Some boards work flawlessly, but others do this (mostly Dyna boards).  Any clues as to what's up??

Did you change a setting?
If you did not change anything, then check your internal book-keeping records
and see if everything's still there - if not, then I'd suspect the on-board memory battery?

Eric,

I'd recommend putting some 1F supercaps on those boards instead of more NiCd or NiMH rechargeable batteries.

not to high jack but I want to put a 1F on a pinball but I don't see them at digikey.  Do you know a good source?

Better yet, tell me which one to buy.  Hell man, you know my limitation of knowledge on these things.  I'd never even heard of a supercap before.  Thanks Raymond.

Well, that didn't work.  Still dumping credits.  And now the working boards I had (albeit with batteries that were starting to leak) now dump credits too!  Is there something I'm missing about using supercaps in place of the batteries??  Silly Me!

First thing I would suspect is a knock off button stuck in the closed position.
